dnp denmark’s Global Sales Manager, Soeren Kraemmergaard, reports from InfoComm that the upgraded Supernova Flex Classic, Supernova Core II and new Supernova STS (Short Throw Screen) were particularly well received.
All models featured ISF Certified 08-85 Supernova screen material, with dnp’s proprietary optical front projection technology (enables high contrast images to be projected in high ambient light.)
The new Supernova STS, Short Throw screen captured interest from the education market. According to dnp, attendees remarked the display more resembled a flat panel than” the washed -out image of a smart board” that integrators are accustomed to seeing.
dnp also featured the 150” Zenith rear projection screen, showing live at InfoComm both the UEFA Euro 2012 Football Championships and the US Open via an HD direct TV feed. Even in USA, the dnp exhibit remained extremely crowded for the most popular football matches.
Elsewhere at InfoComm, projector maker Digital Projection Inc. featured 14 dnp Supernova Screens..
