3M will exhibit a range of multi-touch displays based on 3M Projected Capacitive Technology (3M PCT) at Kiosk Europe Expo 2011. Highlights will include 22” and 32” multi-touch displays in kiosk and table applications. 3M will also demonstrate its recently launched Smart Pen, an input device providing precision accuracy for users of popular capacitive touch smart phones and tablets.
3M PCT multi-touch technology can register up to 60 simultaneous touch events with less than 12-ms response time, making it one of the fastest solutions. The products highlight touch technology for single, multi-user and collaborative applications, including audio/visual, casino gaming, digital signage, education, media and broadcast, security, telecom and utilities.
Stand demos will include the new 32” C3266PW chassis, featuring a 1080p HD wide viewing-angle LCD with 10-finger and 2-palm multi-touch capability, and various 22” multi-touch displays (the M2256PW desktop and M2254PW chassis).
Also on show will be: SCT3250EX (5.7” to 32” display sizes), SCT7650EX (vandal-prone and rugged applications) and C2234SW (robust metal chassis housing). In addition, the DST2270DX (dispersive signal technology for 32” to 55” displays) will be demonstrated.
